I Plan to Live in This Waffle-Knit Loungewear Set Until Further Notice

As someone who works from home full-time, you can bet that I have an extensive collection of loungewear. It’s my go-to when I want to feel more put-together than I would in pajamas, and thankfully, there are lots of elevated sets out there that make this possible. The downside is that many of them are really* pricey, and it can be hard to justify spending as much (or more!) on a sweatshirt or sweatpants as you would on “normal” clothes. But the good news is that Old Navy has hopped on board the cute-loungewear trend with its Waffle-Knit Pajama Cami Bralette Top ($22, originally $25) and High-Waisted Waffle-Knit Pajama Jogger Pants ($35). The brand recently unveiled them for fall, and when I noticed that they have a nearly perfect five-star review, I added both pieces to my cart. My honest thoughts on the set ahead.

What I Like About This Loungewear Set

I’m wearing this loungewear set as I type this and am overall thrilled with its fit. For starters, the cotton-blend material is soft and slightly stretchy and lightweight enough that you won’t get sweaty minutes into wearing it. And the waffle-knit texture is as chic as it looks online. (Dare I say that it looks like a dupe for a high-end loungewear brand?)

The cami bralette top is really supportive, while the high-waisted bottoms fit like traditional joggers: they cinch at the waist and offer a relaxed fit through the hip and thigh, tapering at the ankle. My favorite details are the matching three-button placket detailing and the joggers’ pockets, which are deep and soft.

What’s Worth Noting

As mentioned earlier, Old Navy shoppers adore this set — myself included. While there aren’t many less-than-favorable reviews, a few shoppers noted that they found the bralette and joggers to run large. My usual size medium was a perfect fit in both.

Another thing worth noting is that the brand has other waffle-knit offerings to mix and/or match with this cami and joggers. There’s the Long-Sleeve Waffle-Knit Pajama Top ($35), the Oversized Waffle-Knit Tie-Belt Robe ($50), and the High-Waisted Thermal Pajama Boxer Shorts, 3-Inch Inseam ($12–$15, originally $30).

This loungewear set is great for homebodies and/or work-from-homers who want the next step up from pajamas that make them feel put-together without sacrificing comfort.
